Houses of Prayer
Jesus asks the question in Luke 18, “when the Son of man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” He’s asking if people would pray persistently and expect to be heard. I want to be able to say, “YES Lord! You will find faith here in the River Valley. When You return we will be watching and praying.”
Aaron and I have a few house prayer meetings planned so far. If you want to host one or find one to attend just email us. This is one of the main things that God has asked us to do right now - praying and worshipping from house to house, and serving other ministries through prayer and worship.
These meetings are not “a show” and we aren’t hoping for a good turn out. If you come, please come to pray. The beauty is that everyone can pray, either quietly or out loud. And Holy Spirit is there; that’s beautiful too.
Praying the Word of God together speaks love to Him and translates into unity among believers. I know that a small group of believers praying in earnest moves God.
